About Community Acupuncture

Community Acupuncture, or group acupuncture, is acupuncture done in a group setting. Similar to a yoga or exercise class, or even a library in which many people are intently studying, the presence of other patients enhances the effect of a quiet, peaceful healing environment. Community acupuncture has its roots in the public outreach NADA Detox Protocol, commonly used in Public Health Clinics. As such the founders of the Community Acupuncture Movement based the group treatment model around allowing people access to treatment without cost being a limiting factor.

Southside Community Acupuncture, LLC (SCA) provides affordable community acupuncture in Richmond, VA. We treat multiple people in zero gravity chairs in a peaceful community space, which helps to keep costs down, so you can let your health dictate your treatment plan instead of your wallet.
